Biography

Robert Strosin has been engraving since 1978.  He is a regular member of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild and a certified Professional Member of the Firearms Engravers Guild of America.  He has held the offices of president and treasurer of FEGA.  Robert is a full time engraver and a mostly self taught artist.  He has taken four Grand Masters classes at the GRS Training Center that have helped refine his skills.  Most recently in 2007 with classes taught by Winston Churchill and Ken Hunt and in 2006 with classes taught by Philippe Grifnee and 'Creative Arts'.  He has been featured in several publications from GRS , FEGA and Custom Firearms Engraving by Tom Turpin.  

In addition to engraving and inlaying, he offers special services of bluing with select French Grey.  Services to completely restore and customize firearms are offered as well as custom jewelry, knives and other select engraving.

Robert is also a member of the N.R.A., the Amateur Trapshooting Association, the Harley Owner's Group (HOG) and has recently restored his 1968 Pontiac GTO Convertible to show winning condition.
